Phillip Kahl goes to Canada!

NETs@Helmholtz PhD student Phillip Kahl has been awarded a DAAD scholarship to travel to Vancouver, Canada, where he will continue his research.

He told us a little bit about his planned stay:

"From January 22nd until July 27th, 2025, I will join the workgroup of Prof. Borduas-Dedekind at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. With her support, I will carry out chamber experiments to research the reactions of selected amines and their degradation products, respectively. With these results, I will complement my current atmospheric degradation schemes, which will improve the accuracy of my simulations to assess the atmospheric impact of Direct Air Capture." - Phillip

We are very proud of him and wish him a wonderful and productive time there!
