Patrick Behr Presents CO₂ Capture Research at ICACC in Daytona

At the end of the month, our PhD student Patrick Behr will give a presentation at the prestigious International Conference on Advanced Ceramics and Composites (ICACC) in Daytona Beach, Florida.

His talk, titled “Sustainable Solid Sorbents for CO₂ Capture – Amine Functionalized Layered Oxides”, will showcase innovative materials for CO₂ capture. The presentation is part of Focused Session 7 – Ceramics for Global Decarbonization, which highlights the crucial role of ceramic materials in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, carbon storage and utilization, and renewable energy technologies. This session serves as a platform for discussing the latest research advancements and future challenges in the field.

ICACC is one of the leading international conferences on advanced ceramic technologies, bringing together experts from academia and industry every year.
