The Future of Carbon Capture: Expert Interviews on Direct Air Capture and the DACStorE Project
The DACStorE press briefing on 16 May resulted in two interviews with DACS experts Professor Stolten, DACStorE project leader, and Professor Dittmeyer, DACStorE project associate.
Prof. Detlef Stolten discussed the aims and expectations of the project with journalist Joachim Wille and expressed his hopes for a positive outcome. He noted that CO2 capture is becoming cheaper and shared his vision for the future viability of the DACS project.
Prof. Roland Dittmeyer from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and Matthias Brey, Sustainability Leader at EY Consulting, were interviewed by prozesstechnikTV at the ACHEMA exhibition on 10.6. They discussed the current political and technological status of carbon capture in Germany, where CO2 could be stored, current progress in the chemical industry and technologies under development.
